The Green Tomato Coalition's Mission:
A community is like a garden. The best results come to those that plan ahead by cultivating & enriching the soil. Local Communities such as ours often have great people and organizations already making a difference but on their own and with limited resources, they often struggle to accomplish everything that needs to be done. A coalition like the GTC is not just a way for green initiatives and members of the community to share ideas, concerns, & needs. By occasionally putting our heads together and pooling resources, we can grow a community we'll all want to live in for generations to come.

The GTC is also a plan for progress. Right now this plan is no more than a seed. The GTC needs plenty more green-horns to make the coalition grow.
